Dear IEEE Members in South Africa,
There is an opportunity to apply for funding from the National Science and Technology Forum (NSTF, http://www.nstf.org.za/), where IEEE South Africa is a member.
The NSTF is a non-profit stakeholder body for all science, engineering, technology (SET) and innovation organizations in RSA. The NSTF proSET (Professionals in Science, Engineering and Technology, http://www.nstf.org.za/memberships/professional-bodies-proset/) Committee has issued its fifth round of call for proposals as per the the letter (http://ieee.org.za/file/18callforproposals5throundpdf) and proposal form (http://ieee.org.za/file/18proposalsformdocx), and according to the current guidelines for proposals.
The proposals must be submitted via relevant IEEE units (e.g. Student Branch, Affinity Group or Chapter). If you submitted a proposal last year and it did not go through, you are welcome to re-submit this year.
Queries can be made to Kgaugelo Teffo, Committees secretariat & stakeholder relations officer, NSTF (E: firstname.lastname@example.org, T: 012 841 2632, Room 5140 CSIR campus (north), Building 33, Meiring Naude Rd, Pretoria)
Submit your proposal by means of the accompanying form to the email address Kgaugelo Teffo <email@example.com> (please copy me at firstname.lastname@example.org). The deadline for submissions is end of business on Friday, 31 August 2018.
